When we decided to book a staycation in Brighton at the start of the month there was one hotel that instantly came to mind. The Artist Residence Brighton is a beautiful, boutique hotel with an eccentric interior. A lot of the rooms are designed by local artists which is a super fun way to ensure every corner of the hotel is slightly different to the last. As soon as you step foot inside the entrance the cosy, yet super fun atmosphere instantly hits you.
The choice of rooms are enough to make you want to book multiple stays at once, we knew it was going to be a short and sweet stay so we opted for the Tiny Sea View Room with Balcony. It was so amazing to be able to be in bed (the cosiest bed ever btw) and looking out into the hazy, golden sunrise every morning! Plus there’s something super eerie about the West Pier looming in the distance. The room was beautiful and the details were so well thought out. Every time you entered your room the Roberts radio would be playing to greet you, the bed positively plumped and the bedside lamps glowing. It was the perfect welcome back to comfort after a day of exploring the city.
The Artist Residence Brighton has the most desirable location. Perched on the edge of Hove, overlooking the sea right across the road with the famous shopping lanes only 5 minutes away. If you only have a couple of days it’s the perfect reason to stay here. I totally fell in love with Hove too, it had a real SW3 feel to it which as you probably already know is my favourite spot in London.
Every morning we ate breakfast (my favourite time of day) at the Set Cafe downstairs. The food was amazing, the indulgent breakfast pancakes were such a treat and the granola topped with spiced berry compote and yoghurt was so autumnal and delicious! It was super relaxing with the view of the sea across the road and the smell of fresh coffee taking over. Although the hotel looks fairly intimate they have two restaurants and two cocktail bars nestled within the building.
Staying at the Artist Residence Brighton was easily up there with one of my favourite staycations! It felt like such a treat and the dreamiest mini break without all the hassle of travelling, airports and time difference! I have to say the staff were all so welcoming and the overall feel of the hotel was just 10 out of 10. It really summed Brighton up too! I would 100% recommend checking yourself in to one of their unbelievably comfortable yet super stylish hotels.
Have you ever stayed at one of the Artist Residence hotels?
