When it comes to discovering new beauty brands I’m more than happy to head to the high street. My everyday makeup routine is pretty 50/50 and I love mixing high end, luxurious products with more affordable yet equally as effective high street options. I’m totally up for finding dupes and saving some pennies!
NYX Cosmetics – Over the past year I have totally fallen in love with NYX and really grown my collection. Ever since it has become easily accessible (thanks Boots!) I find myself gracing the counter for any new releases and potential favourites. A few standout items are the Soft Matte Lip Creams, HD Studio Photogenic Concealer and the Ultimate Eyeshadow Palettes. All of these rival my all time favourites and I’m never without them in my collection. For the very affordable price tag (most products are £10 or under) the quality is super impressive!
3INA* – A recent discovery for me is 3INA (pronounced mee-nah). The whole brand refuses to conform to just the everyday basics with an array of yellow eyeliners, colourful mascaras and metallic eyeshadows. As soon as I visited their website I immediately wanted to step outside my comfort zone and experiment! The stand out for me so far are their Longwear Lipsticks*. The shades are all really wearable, the finish is super matte yet creamy and the comfort levels are enviable compared to higher end alternatives. I’m finding myself reaching for this more and more as autumn approaches! I’ve also mentioned their Highlighter* before for an everyday subtle golden glow and their Metallic Cream Eyeshadow* is adding some glamour to my makeup collection, perfect for the festive season.
Soap & Glory – I feel as though Soap & Glory is such a well loved household name however their makeup and skincare is totally underrated! The packaging is so beautifully designed and the products themselves are a lovely addition to any makeup bag. I particularly love their Archery Brow Pencil for precise, yet super natural brows and I always have a back up! Any of their cheek products are totally worth checking out especially Solar Powder for glowing bronzed skin and the Glow All Out for a subtle champagne highlight.
