Although I love a luxury purchase here and there I’m always more impressed with high street beauty heroes. I’ve found a few must haves that barely cost over £10! All of these are up there with my everyday favourites as well as competing with some of my long term staples!
Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation – This is the best drugstore foundation I have come across. It always competes with my high end collection that all cost at least double the price. The coverage is amazing yet appears barely noticeable on the skin. The mixture of revitalising ingredients such as apricot and melon enhance my complexion, ensuring it looks hydrated and healthy. The dewy finish is enough to make me continuously repurchase!
NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams – These are such a makeup bag staple for any lipstick lover. The shades are so beautiful and there are a mixture of reds, nudes and pinks to suit everyone. I love how comfortable they are to wear on the lips and never compromise hydration. A thin layer is enough for a subtle stain however they are super easy to build up.
Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer – I only got in to using this concealer earlier on in the year. I wanted to see what the hype was about and now I’m totally obsessed. I wear this everyday to hide blemishes, brighten up dull areas and to perfect my skin. Team this concealer with a tinted moisturiser and you have a radiant yet flawless complexion!
L’Oreal Nude Magique Cushion Foundation – I’m sure everyone has tried or at least read about this dreamy base. The perfect summer skin in a pot for the days you want to allow your skin to breathe. The formula adds a glow to the skin without masking it in product. I love this one for brightening up my skin on minimal makeup days.
Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara – Easily one of my most loved high street beauty heroes! The Lash Sensational Mascara has been a staple of mine for a good couple of years now and I always come back to it. The formula is lengthening and separating making it perfect for everyday wear. It always lasts so well throughout the day too!
Soap & Glory Brow Archery – I’ver never been one to fully invest in my brows however since I have discovered this pencil I’m so much happier with the outcome. The lightest shade ‘Love is Blonde’ in the range is the perfect match for blonde brows and adds natural yet precise definition. The little brush on the other end is amazing too!
Soap & Glory Glow All Out – This is a recent addition to my collection but one I’m totally smitten with. A blush pink luminizing face powder that subtly highlights the skin. I love that it’s slightly on the pinky side as I dust this on top of my bronzer instead of reaching for a blush.
