Seeing as we are now half way through 2017(!) I wanted to round up my beauty favourites so far. Seriously though, how are we already half way to Christmas?! I absolutely love all of these and find myself continuously reaching for them all on a regular basis.
One of my favourite brand discoveries this year is definitely The Ordinary. As soon as it launched I knew I had to try a selection of their products. For such an affordable price tag the quality of the range is so impressive. I’m totally obsessed with the Hyaluronic Acid for adding some moisture back into my dehydrated skin. I also love the Salicylic Acid for any spot prone areas to keep them under control. The Ordinary products are definitely some of my top 2017 beauty favourites so far.
Two of my most worn lipsticks this year so far are both beautiful nudes. Charlotte Tilbury’s Very Victoria is one I continuously reach for no matter what the occasion. The formula is so velvety and the softest matte for comfortable wear all day long. If I’m not wearing this one I usually have on the Lancome L’Absolu Rouge Sheer Lipstick* in the shade ‘Nuit and Jour’ as it’s the perfect peachy pink. It’s slightly more on the creamier side too which I love!
This year I have definitely been a little more experimental when it comes to my base products. I cannot recommend the Pur-Lisse BB Cream* enough. Even though I love higher coverage foundations this one ticks all of the boxes when it comes to my perfect base. It evens out my skin tone and really enhances my skin in every way possible. For a finish that’s even more seamless the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk is beautiful. I will forever repurchase this foundation as my skin has never looked better then on the days I wear this. Of course I couldn’t not mention the L’Oreal Nude Magique Cushion Foundation* for a high street option. The coverage is a lot more natural but this is a great alternative for minimal makeup looks in the warmer months.
When it comes to perfecting my complexion the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette is easily one of my top 2017 beauty favourites so far. Everything about the palette from the airbrushing qualities of the powders to way they seamlessly blend together is just a dream. If I want to achieve fresh, glowing skin before hand I always reach for the Lancome Hydra Glow Primer* which instantly adds a beautiful champagne highlight to the skin.
Finally a little luxury 2017 beauty favourite is the Aesop Resurrection Hand Cream. The scent is so beautiful as its packed with mandarin, lavender and almond oil! As always with Aesop the quality is beyond amazing and the products last so well which makes them incredible value for their higher end price.
