I have a thing for lipsticks. Look through my current handbag of choice and without a doubt you’ll find at least 4. On a daily basis I keep my makeup pretty much the same however my lipstick choice is always one I like to change up. I don’t feel myself if I don’t have some kind of lip product applied! I thought I would share with you my week in lipsticks.
My most worn lipstick is from the Kate Moss for Rimmel collection. The shade ’03’ is without a doubt my favourite day to day nude. It’s so creamy, lasts nearly all day over a lip liner and goes with every makeup look. I barely have to think about it twice throughout the day!
A fairly new love is Charlotte Tilbury’s Very Victoria. It’s so beautiful and of course feels so luxurious to wear. This colour is a slightly deeper nude, the matte finish is seamless and it’s the perfect lipstick for taking your makeup from day to night. The rose gold packaging is a bonus and overall I couldn’t fault the shade or formula at all!
For something a little more pink for spring and summer I reach for the Nars Audacious Lipstick in Brigitte. This is beautiful at brightening up your makeup and adding in a pop of velvety colour. It’s not at all in your face but yet subtle and sophisticated when paired with a minimal makeup look. I absolutely love this range from Nars!
For low key days I like to opt for a gloss or something a little more hydrating and effortless. The NYX Butter Gloss in the shade Creme Brûlée is perfect for applying on the go or in a rush. If I’m just heading out to the shops or want a minimal look this is my go to!
Finally I have been obsessed with the Lancome L’asbolu Rouge Sheer Lipstick* in the shade Nuit and Jour recently. I keep this on me most days to layer over other shades, lighten some of my favourites or just wear on it’s own. It’s really versatile and such a gorgeous pinky, peach that is a staple for spring. The formula is a lot more sheer than the other shades but really light weight on the lips.
What would your week in lipsticks look like?
