The first thing I do on a day off is check the weather! Seeing bright blue skies and the sun shining into my bedroom for the first time in forever instantly gave me a burst of motivation to get outside and enjoy the day. I’ve been waiting for the spring to begin so I can start featuring a few more outfit posts here and there! I’m super chilled when it comes to picking out my outfit of the day so I thought I would show you a simple, casual way on how to style gingham this spring.
Gingham is everywhere at the moment ands it’s such a staple print to have in your wardrobe. If you’re like me and don’t stray too far from your style comfort zone then this trend is great! Gingham has always reminded me of the warmer months so I was super happy to come across this Gingham Top whilst shopping last week. I thought this would be the perfect item to transition my style into spring without totally freezing to death in the UK! I love the tie detail that has gone into the sleeves and the frilled hem makes it a little more unique. Perfect for pairing with any sort of denim and your good to go!
For the little details I brightened it up with my go to blush pink Aspinal bag and my favourite Olivia Burton watch. I love how the monochrome print can be paired with any pop of colour to create a different look each time. I think this top will look great with white jeans and these little pom pom sandals for the warmer months.
For now I’m completely smitten with this little gingham top but I have my eye on the trousers too! Super casual and perfect for dressing up or down.
