My January Reading List

January Reading List

January is the perfect time of year to get stuck in to a good book. The cold wintery evenings are made for getting cosy with a new read and great for taking some time away from my laptop. I recently went on a little book shopping spree and picked up some beautiful new reads. I have a soft spot for pretty coffee table books, especially ones that you can pick up whenever and wherever for some light hearted reading. These four are at the top of my January reading list right now.

Adrianna Adarme: The Year of Cosy | I saw this book pop up on the recommended page on Amazon and instantly thought it would be perfect for me! After reading the description I couldn’t wait for it to arrive and I’m now totally smitten with this find. The ‘Year of Cosy’ is filled with gorgeous images throughout that have a lovely simplistic theme, the photos are a good enough reason to buy it alone! This book is packed full of feel good recipes for each season, little ways to enhance happiness and activities to do throughout the year.

Estee Lalonde: Bloom | I’ve never actually been a massive follower of Estee but after seeing this book grace the web I knew it would be a great read. I’ve absolutely loved dipping in and out of this book in the evenings and it’s beautifully written with so much personality. I’ve really enjoyed having a little insight into Estee’s life and seeing how she got to where she is today. It’s definitely a lovely, feel good book with a sense of humour that will only leave you wanting more.

Aimee Song: Capture Your Style | I was searching for this one everywhere before it finally came back in stock online. It’s essentially a book all about photography and how to apply it to growing your Instagram. The photos throughout the book are so beautiful and totally inspire me to create better images. I am totally envious of Aimee’s amazing lifestyle so the tips throughout the book are incredibly helpful! It covers everything from lighting, growing your following and setting up the perfect photo.

Niomi Smart: Eat Smart | I knew I wanted this book as soon as Niomi first mentioned it. I admire her dedication to living a healthy lifestyle and sticking to a plant based diet. I find it hard to think of new meals and recipes to try out so I thought this book would give me the motivation to experiment more. I find it easier to adapt a few of the recipes to suit my style but it is a beautifully shot and put together book. If you’re after a change of lifestyle or just some healthy eating inspo this is a must.

  • I’ve been wanting to get Capture Your Style for a while now, but this is it, I’ll give in and purchase it after writing this comment haha. I have a long to-read list though, I haven’t finished Lisa Eldridge’s book even though I got it ages ago. I also recently purchased a bio book about Kandinsky (whom I’m obsessed with!) so I have enough material for the next month for sure.
