A Bedroom Tour

This post has definitely been a long time coming! I’ve wanted to share a sneak peak inside my bedroom for a while now but I have never really been happy with the outcome. Just before christmas I was sent the most beautiful gold, polka dot Kate Spade candle from the  lovely team at Amara. I genuinely opened the box with so much love as it is seriously stunning! I knew it would add the perfect touch to my bedroom and the fig scent is so comforting. From then on I made the effort to add a few new additions to my room to make it a little more Pinterest worthy before sharing a bedroom tour. I have totally loved styling up the plain white spaces in my room with pastel books piled up, candles in every corner and obviously a few copper items here and there.

At the moment I have a slight blush pink obsession so I wanted to incorporate this into my bedroom in a minimal way. A cosy pink throw draped over the bed, pastel pink fairy lights strung along the fireplace and a bunch of roses all freshen up the space. It’s super spring-like which motivates me and lifts my mood on a daily basis. Perfect for beating the post Christmas blues!

The main feeling I wanted to achieve through my bedroom decor is cosiness. I wanted white walls and bedding to make the space feel bigger but also a whole load of blankets and cushions layered on my bed. I love this little eyelash cushion from Urban Outfitters, their homeware is beautiful and I’m always checking their new in section! Another place I buy a lot of homeware from is H&M Home. The copper candle on my fireplace cost only a couple of pounds and looks really expensive.

I am so much happier with my bedroom now I have the two gold foil prints on display from Maggs London. The quality is beautiful and I know I will always find the space for them. They really do finish my room off perfectly for now and the opportunities of where to put them are endless. I can’t wait to pick up a few more prints soon so I can save them all for a picture wall one day.

I’ve recently added in a clothes rail along the back wall but haven’t quite mastered that one for a photo just yet! It does take a lot of work to get it looking right but as you can imagine there is a whole load of black, white and pink hanging there. They are super stylish but not the most practical of storage spaces when you have a lot of clothes!

So there is my first ever bedroom tour. I’m hoping I can do a few more of these posts whenever I update my room for a new season, especially when I get my own house! I hope this gives you some bedroom inspiration.
