One of the main things I love about Instagram is that it has the ability to highlight the most beautiful little independent places that are just waiting to be discovered. Every time I’m heading somewhere new I never fail to search through related hashtags and the places page on Insta for other peoples recommendations via stunning photography. I’m totally into all of the Scandinavian inspired decor paired with freshly baked treats and The Society Cafe in Bath has all of that plus more! We popped in first thing in the morning to beat the crowds and test out their highly recommend hot chocolates on our way for a walk around the city. I was so impressed and definitely wish we had more time to pop back in for round two!
Next stop was Côte, a parisian styled brassiere with a breakfast menu to die for. French toast, pancakes and a whole load of pastries made the decision super hard as everything sounded amazing! It really is blogger heaven with rows of beautiful marble tables and tiled flooring. I so wish we had one closer to our home town but it was a nice treat to try somewhere new elsewhere. I went for something light, as I knew we had a long day of trying out different eateries ahead of us! Plus I cannot resist a croissant, they are my ultimate guilty pleasure for the weekends and it wouldn’t have been a birthday breakfast without one!
One thing I’ve definitely made the most of this year is Sundays and this was the perfect way to spend the morning after the (spa) night before!
Where is your favourite Sunday morning breakfast spot?
