So this week I turned 23! I genuinely don’t know where the time is going as I still feel about 18 but that’s a good thing I guess. I can’t believe it was a whole year ago I was in Paris turning 22, I still think about it to this day as it was such an amazing city. This year we went for something a little more low key and celebrated with a little trip to Bath. It’s such a beautiful place with a really relaxing atmosphere but enough going on to keep you busy. My boyfriend and I visited the Thermae Spa for the first time, due to us both working non stop now a days it was amazing to just press pause and unwind for a little while. Plus, watching the sunset from a rooftop pool was the perfect way to bring in my birthday.
This year has been full of learning curves and hurdles but I definitely feel as though I’ve learnt a lot about myself. The main thing I’ve realised is that you never know what might be just around the corner and that’s something I always live by now. I’ve felt as though this last year was a transitional year, one that needed to happen in order to challenge me and make way for better things next year. So hopefully now things should slow down a little and I can take a back seat for the remaining months of 2016.
I’ve had some of the best opportunities from blogging this year and although it’s not something I want to take full time just yet, it’s definitely a thought for the future. I absolutely love having this little space on the internet to share my favourite things with you all! I’m excited for what’s to come and what I might be writing this time next year.
Heres to turning 23 and now I can start on the countdown to Christmas!
(71 days if you’re wondering…)
