3 Autumnal Blushers

Autumnal Blushers

I have a love/hate relationship with blushers. I either go weeks without even picking one up or I want to apply them all at once! When the weather starts to get a bit colder I love applying a blusher to perk up my skin and ensure it looks radiant. I love stepping away from the corals and rosy pinks to welcome in the plum tones. I have chosen my favourite 3 autumnal blushers that are seriously beautiful, easy to wear and are perfect for achieving that fresh rosy glow on a crisp morning.

Nars Blusher in Dolce Vita – A beautiful matte dusty rose blush that is the perfect autumnal shade. The powder itself is so highly pigmented you only need the tiniest amount of product on your brush! The finely milled formula ensures a soft, blendable application process which immediately brightens up the complexion. I think Nars blushes are by far my favourite!

MAC Powder Blusher in Harmony – I normally use this one as a contour in the summer months but it also doubles up as the perfect autumnal blush. The shade itself is a beautiful rose-beige brown that is neutral enough to go with any makeup look whilst adding some colour back into my complexion. It’s hard to get the application wrong as the colour is so versatile and easy to build up. It compliments a bold berry lip so well which is one of the reasons I love it so much.

Lancome Cushion Blush Subtil in Sorbet Grenadine* – I’ve been loving the cushion trend that has been making it’s way through 2016. This gorgeous creamy Lancome blusher is perfect for achieving that fresh, dewy skin look. The shade is a beautiful transitional coral that instantly adds a healthy glow to your face. I love the cushion formula too, it’s super easy to blend into the skin and impressively pigmented for a cream product. I find it looks best lightly applied over a bronzer to enhance that post summer glow.
