These days it seems that when any traditional holiday or ‘themed’ related day rolls around everyone but you is out doing something fancy and having a great time. I definitely think social media is to blame for this! Easter has never been a massive deal in our family and we don’t seem to have any traditions, it’s just seen as a long weekend to catch up on things you wouldn’t normally have the time for. After an amazing week spent in London (posts coming soon) this weekend has been nothing but relaxing.
Yesterday I was lucky enough to receive some of these amazing pieces from the Lush Easter range. I have had my eye on these since they came out as they are just so adorable! The bunch of carrots look good enough to eat and are packed with lemon and grapefruit oils so they smell delicious! Hoppity Poppity is my favourite and I almost think it’s too cute to use! Filled with lavender for a super relaxing evening bath and even includes some popping candy for added fun. Finally, if you are a fan of the snow fairy line you’ll love the ‘fluffy egg’ bath bomb, it smells almost identical and is definitely worth stocking up on seeing as the scent is limited edition.
Today I visited the Good Food market which is definitely worth checking out if you live close by. It’s held on the first sunday of every month at Royal William Yard and has an amazing variety of different food on offer. With over 30 stalls of the best local food and drink companies there is something for everyone. We picked up these amazing homemade hot cross buns for our breakfast tomorrow as well lots of other treats such as peanut butter brownies, popcorn and sourdough bread.
What have your plans been for this long weekend?
