Today is the start of my week long birthday celebrations. Seeing as it only comes around once a year you might aswell make it last as long as possible and get the most out of it right? I’m actually away in London for 4 days over my birthday so now is the perfect time to catch up and celebrate with my family. This morning we went for brunch and as usual I decided to go for the pancakes! They were topped with fresh fruit, syrup and a side of Greek yogurt. Breakfast is my favourite meal of the day to eat out for, it’s the only meal that seems acceptable to eat dessert but in breakfast form! Pancakes always feel more of treat rather than a traditional English breakfast and they look so pretty while tasting delicous! All round a perfect start to the day.
After we finished, we picked up a tea to go and looked around a fresh food market at the Royal William Yard which was surprisingly better than we expected! Packed with stalls selling homemade brownies, cupcakes and crepes. Everything looked really good however we were too full to actually buy anything! The market comes around on the first Sunday of every month and I would definitely make an effort to go back again.
Today is basically the calm before the storm, I have 4 busy days coming up before leaving for London on Friday morning and yet I seem to have so much to do before we go! I’m finally going back to a blonder hair colour on Tuesday which is long over due and I can’t wait to have lighter hair back again! So there you are with another little Sunday round up, expect a lot of London and birthday related blog posts coming over the next couple of weeks! You can see more pictures of everything over on my Instagram here.
What is your idea of a perfect Sunday breakfast?
